Welcome to our new website!

Since we just launched our new site we thought it would be good to give you a quick overview of who we are and what we have to offer you. Here is a quick overview of our history. Charbonneau’s Chocolate Company was founded by Sally “Alex” Johnson in 2002. Charbonneau’s started with a dream, creative ideas, and most importantly a knack for chocolate. It was logical that a family full of chocoholics would hand make their own chocolates. Sally perfected each recipe and created unique Montana chocolates, and Montana novelties that were original, and delicious. Sally retired in 2005, and passed the torch to her daughter Sheila Schiwal. The name Charbonneaus was chosen for several reasons. First, it was the explorer who assisted Lewis and Clark on their expedition, he also married Sacajawea. Next, its Sally’s Stepfather’s last name who everyone adores. Finally, it is French... when you think of France you think of gourmet, rich desserts. These are the value’s we represent. Montana, Family, and fine confections.
We have gourmet chocolates for you as well as montana novelties. One of our all time customer favorites is the Chocolate Dingleberries. We hope you enjoy our new site and we promise that the chocolates will be nothing but spectacular!
